Last year I used an ultra modern free verse one (don't
throw too many

stones!) by Ellis with my 8th grade son. I then made up comprehension
questions using the commentary in Dorothy Sayers version. When we were

both really stumped at a passage, I had an old prose
Everyman Library version from the 1920's that also was
helpful.
