Don't know whether any one's still reading posts way down here - I don't get here too often. We used Stebbing's "I Can Do All Things" book (no video) this past year with 1st, 5th, & 7th graders. They liked it, and I think it has improved their drawing skills. It's very teacher-friendly, needing no prep time and not too much oversight (more for the younger one than the older two). It teaches one thing at a time, and builds on what they already know. In fact, it's not unlike the "Drawing Textbook" in some ways, but is more fleshed out, and I think is friendlier to younger children. I expect my two oldest will finish this book this year, and we plan to go on to one of his higher level books, which seem to deal with more realistic representational drawing (many of the assignments in ICDAT are more like cartooning). > What recommendations (other than Drawing with Children) > would you recommend?
