Gail, I would vote for the Complete Course (isn't there one for a higher grade level?), since you can always leave out something in the most comprehensive volume but can't easily add something left out of a more elementary volume. While I'm here, does anyone know where I might find again the hilarious poem I read (with Sandra Boynton illustrations) on an old English teachers' catalog, "The Rime of the Ancient Warriner?"
