Ava, This just came this morning on the CCH e-mail loop I
hope it is what your are looking for,

Pax,
Jenni

Dear ones,

I sincerely pray that everyone had a wonderful holiday, we sure did. And I am

grateful

that even out here in the boonies our power stayed on through y2k. :-)

Before Christmas, someone asked about celebrating the
feasts of the Lord. We are still implementing celebrating
the feasts, but our initial plan has been, for the ones we
have been able to celebrate, to take the day off from
school, certainly, and my husband takes the day off of work
if he can. (If not, we have had our special meal at

suppertime, when he can be home.) We plan a special meal, just as we do when

celebrating Easter, Christmas, or national holidays. We
have friends and family over,

if at all possible. We feast. :-) For the sake of the children, we read from the

Bible the historical events surrounding that feast, and the
Lord's command to celebrate it. We talk about its
application to the Christian's life. We worship God
together for

His great plan of redemption. :-) And then we relax, play games, and have fun for

the

rest of the day. :-)

I'm not sure how the all the feasts are supposed to be
celebrated in the Jewish tradition, but the only one we
prepare the traditional Jewish meal for is Passover. And
with Passover, we celebrate that with Christians from all
over our area, with each family bringing something for the
feast, and the meal served potluck buffet-style. Other than
Passover, I am still in the process of settling what our
family's traditional meal will be for each feast.

in grace --

studying over the holidays) :-)
