Greetings from Central Texas. My name is Bart Martin, and I am very interested in teaching on the secondary level at a quality classical Christian school. My passion in life is communicating ideas and teaching students to think clearly and Biblically. A 1995 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, I am currently a Captain in the Army, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. I intend to resign in June, making me available to begin teaching in the summer/fall of 2000. I have a B.S. in philosophy, but also have a strong background in world history, British literature, Bible, and theology (especially systematic theology and apologetics). My other passion in life is sports: I would thus welcome any opportunity to coach soccer, cross country, or basketball.
